Los Angeles Lakers Champions Again

The Lakers are the repeat World Champions. I thought the lakers earned the title this year. The Boston Celtics was a good opponent, but a step slow. They couldn't control Kobe, and his ability to make his team better. Good for Kobe ! I was in Los Angeles the night the lakers won the title. What a traffic Jam ! It seemed the whole City of Los Angeles was wearing Gold and purple. Can the Lakers 3 peat ? Probably so if Kobe stay healthy, and keep the supporting cast together !

Michael Beasley is considered damaged goods

The Heat aren't struggling to move Beasley because of his game. It's not especially helpful being a low-rebound percentage, mid-range-jumpshot shooting tweener with questionable defense. But the kid has crazy athleticism and can shoot. That description is one of an NBA player. But the Heat can't get him out the door because of his head, and because of his reputation. If Beasley doesn't want to fade to the margins before falling through the cracks, if he wants to capitalize on the enormous amount of potential he has, he's going to have to go through substantial personal growth in a very short amount of time.

Raptors GM Colangelo says 'it's likely' Bosh will leave

General manager Bryan Colangelo said Monday "it's likely" that free agent forward Chris Bosh will leave the Toronto Raptors. Colangelo told radio station Fan590 in Toronto that the Raptors still hope to keep the All-Star forward, but if Bosh does want to leave, he will try to work a sign-and-trade arrangement that could help both sides. Chris Bosh is a very good forward. Any team will be lucky to get him. I'm hoping the Portland Trail Blazers will take a chance. Owner Paul Allen will have to fork out some money if he would like to win a title. LaMarcus Aldridge will be a perfect sign and trade situation. Both Toronto and Portland will exchange good players. I don't think Chris Bosh would mind playing next to Greg Oden, and Brandon Roy. That will make the Blazers the favorites to advance to the Western Conference Finals. Certain moves are needed to advance the chemistry, and provide a solid foundation. This move will provide and establish an endowment for years to come.

NBA Championship Game 3

If it wasn't already apparent, this is not the same series as the 2008 Finals. Mostly because of the Los Angeles Lakers.

In their 91-84 Game 3 victory, the Lakers, both as individuals and collectively, fought through a litany of situations that would have left them reeling and beaten. And they were tested from the very beginning. And then there was Derek Fisher, criticized so often for his age and difficulties guarding younger, faster point guards. With a little leeway from the officials -- it was an ugly, physical, foul-ridden game throughout -- Fisher was able to put his body on Ray Allen's as he chased him through screens, riding his hip and taking out the shooter's legs.

lakers lose game two

I'll not go as far to say the Lakers are in trouble. They are the defending champs and know how to survive on the road. If the lakers want to see game 6 in Los Angles, they must get some results from the beach. Farmer, Artest,Odem, and Brown.... must stand up and be counted. If Ray Allen had not shot so well in Game 2, the Lakers can easily be up 2 games to none. You know Kobe will be ready to defend Mr Allen and make him play defense in Boston. The key to beating boston is playing solid defense and scoring points. If the Lakers extend their exterior defense, and make the celtics put the ball on the floor... than the lakers will win. The Celtics like to shot jumpshots. Go inside and the lakers are the repeat champs ! Who know the lakers could sweep them in Boston. It will not be far fetched, especially since the Lakers have closed out series on the road. So, Boston don't take Kobe for granted. Paul Pierce mentioned that they will not be back in Los Angeles... please don't give kobe any logs to put gas on.... because he will light and burn the logs. Paul be careful what you ask for !

Basketball Players

Basketball players need to be aggressive in their every move. If you just stay unmoving on the spot and you seem to be uncertain of your next move, rest assured that the glory that is supposed to be yours will be benefited by your opponent. Basketball dribbling requires you to remember the common mistakes made by almost everyone who lacks the practice and to of course do what is supposed to be done. Basketball is part physical, and part mental. If you can improve the mental part of your game, you'll become a better player. After all, the game is suppose to be played the correct way, and don't forget to thank your opponent for a good game. Always be a good Sport !
